Chateau de Gayon is an estate located in Southwestern France, near the Pyrenees Mountains.
The castle dates back to the 13th century, years before the birth of Henry IV. It belongs to the small Madiran
appellation. The wines produced are both Madiran, a full bodied red meant to accompany the hearty meals and
cheese of the Southwest France and a white Pacherenc with residual sugars and balanced acidity, drunk as an
apertif and excellent with fois gras. |
